Hi! I am Aaditya Datar, a BS-MS in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune.
I am interested in understanding phenomena that occur at the interface of information theory, quantum field theory and general relativity. In particular, I am fascinated by how entanglement and quantum information emerge as powerful foundational ideas, be it in the context of the theoretical framework of systems as diverse as black holes and spin chains; or more pragmatic applications like quantum computing and algorithms.
Academics aside, I am an avid reader; and am always down for a session of basketball or gaming!
